microRNA Expression Service details:

The service includes:

  • Phosphatase treatment of total RNA  
  • Labeling of microRNA with Cy-3-pCp
  • Quality Control.
  • Hybridization of labeled RNA to Agilent Microarray slide
  • Scanning and Image Analysis
  • Data Processing/Spot Analysis and Data Analysis report from Agilent Genespring GX (optional)

 

Guidelines for Sample Submission

  1. The miRNA Sample Submission Form must be duly completed and received by Research Biolabs, before shipping of samples.
  1. Customer shall provide 1 microgram of total RNA (concentration ≥ 50ng/ul) in non-DEPC-treated RNAse-free water, sent in nuclease-free screw-capped, 1.5ml microcentrifuge tubes. Shipment of samples should be in dry ice.
  1. Customer must submit proof of sample quality (electrophoresis gel image or Agilent Bioanalyzer readings) together with sample submission form, showing no signs of degradation or contamination.
  1. Samples must have OD readings of A260/A280 ≥1.7 and A260/A230 ≥1.5.
  1. Quality control procedures will be done after various steps during the experiment and the customer will be informed if the samples fail QC.
  1. Results will be delivered within 4 weeks of receipt of samples. Research Biolabs Pte Ltd shall not be responsible for delays due to shipments or lost/degraded samples during transportation.

Guidelines for Sample Submission

  1. The Gene Expression Sample Submission Form must be duly completed and received by Research Biolabs, before shipping of samples.
  1. Customer shall provide 1 microgram each of total RNA from treated/test sample and untreated/control sample (concentration ≥ 100ng/ul) in non-DEPC-treated RNAse-free water, sent in nuclease-free screw-capped, microcentrifuge tubes. Shipment of samples should be in dry ice.
  1. Customer must submit proof of sample quality (electrophoresis gel image or Agilent Bioanalyzer readings) together with sample submission form, showing no signs of degradation or contamination.

ChIP-on-chip Service details:

The service includes:

  • Labeling of DNA with Cy-3, Cy-5

  • Data Processing and Data Analysis report from Agilent ChIP Analytics

 

Guidelines for Sample Submission

  1. The ChIP-on-chip Sample Submission Form must be duly completed and received by Research Biolabs, before shipping of samples.
  1. Customer shall provide 3 micrograms each of whole cell extract DNA and IP DNA that has been amplified and validated for enrichment of known regions, sent in nuclease-free screw-capped, microcentrifuge tubes (concentration ≥ 100ng/ul).
  1. Customer must submit proof of sample quality (electrophoresis gel image or Agilent Bioanalyzer readings) together with sample submission form, showing no signs of degradation or contamination.
  1. Samples must have OD readings of A260/A280 ≥1.7 and A260/A230 ≥1.5.
  1. Quality control procedures will be done after various steps during the experiment and the customer will be informed if the samples fail QC.

The service includes:

  • Labeling of DNA with Cy-3, Cy-5, using Agilent’s Genomic DNA Labeling kit
  • Quality control
  • Hybridization of labeled DNA to Agilent Microarray slides
  • Scanning and Image Analysis
  • Data Processing and Data Analysis report from Agilent CGH Analytics

 

Guidelines for Sample Submission

  1. The aCGH Sample Submission Form must be duly completed and received by Research Biolabs, before shipping of samples.
  1. Customer shall provide 2 micrograms each of test sample and reference sample (concentration ≥ 100ng/ul) genomic DNA (gDNA) in non-DEPC-treated RNAse-free water or TE and sent in nuclease-free screw-capped, microcentrifuge tubes. Alternatively, gDNA can be shipped lyophilized at room temperature; or in ethanol with 0.1 volume of sodium acetate and 2.5 volumes of ethanol (100%), shipped on ice.
  1. Customer must submit proof of sample quality (electrophoresis gel image or Agilent Bioanalyzer readings) together with sample submission form, showing no signs of degradation or contamination.
  1. Samples must have OD readings of A260/A280 ≥1.7 and A260/A230 ≥1.5.
  1. Quality control procedures will be done after various steps during the experiment and the customer will be informed if the samples fail QC.
