3-Day Workshop for
BASIC MICROARRAY FAMILIARIZATION

Complete ‘hands-on’ from sample preparation till data analysis!

Focusing on the following skill sets:

• Extraction of RNA
• Quality Control with the Agilent BA2100 Bioanalyzer
• Amplification of RNA and Labeling with Cy3, Cy5
• Hybridization onto Agilent SurePrint Microarray slides
• Scanning with Agilent Scanner and Feature Extraction software
• Data Processing and Analysis with Agilent’s Genespring GX

* Based on Gene expression application. Other applications (aCGH, miRNA, chip-on-chip) available upon request.

 

Workshop Highlights:

1. Tutorials on the Agilent microarray platform
2. Video presentations of wet lab demo
3. Hands-on wet lab using real samples and arrays/consumables
4. Basic data analysis (mapping of differentials, clustering, GO analysis and pathway analysis)
5. Option to bring own samples (please ask our Applications Specialist for more details)
6. Small training group (4-6 participants) for optimal learning experience
